Let your little ones run wild in Be Lenka Play barefoot shoes. A perfect blend of functionality and aesthetics, these gorgeous, premium leather barefoot shoes are designed especially for kids' growing feet. They feature a lightweight, foot-shaped design, wide toe box and a flexible 6 mm sole.
The bones in kids' feet are malleable and unrestricted foot movement is of utmost importance for their natural development. Play shoes have thin and flexible soles, enabling natural foot movement and increased sensory feedback (for better control of motor function and balance). The wide toe box enables the toes to wiggle freely and does not squash them as many modern shoes do. The velcro fasteners enable tightening as desired over the ankle, making them suitable for a variety of foot types.

These shoes are suitable to be worn in playgrounds, parks, any urban environments and for everyday walking.
Note: Shoes are not designed to do sports. Especially cycling, rock climbing, and other strenuous activities can damage the sole. These shoes are intended for use in dry weather as the leather is coloured with eco dye that may run when wet. We recommend impregnation of the shoes to preserve the colour and leather.

The size chart indicates the length and width of the insole of the shoe in centimetres.
We recommend adding an extra 0.5 - 1 cm to the total length of the child's foot, which will give you the ideal shoe size for your child.

How to measure your feet
How to measure your feet
- Place a piece of paper on a flat, smooth and even surface, with one end against a wall
- Step onto the paper with all your weight on the leg and your heel against the wall
- Use a pen/pencil to mark where your longest toe ends
- Measure the distance from the wall/end of the paper to the mark you've made.
- The number obtained is the length of the foot. Repeat for your other foot
- Add an extra 0.5-1.2 cm (ideal leeway) to the length of the foot, and you will get the ideal size of your shoe.
- Find your shoe size per the size charts on each product page on our website.
- The size chart indicates the inner length and width of our barefoot shoes in centimetres.
Important note
- Due to the thick lining in some of the winter boots (e.g. Snowfox and Winter), we recommend going for one size bigger than other models of the same brand.
- Often you can wear a smaller size in ballet flats and sandals as not so much room is needed in front of the toes.
